1949 Chevrolet Other Pickups 3100
Here is a 1949 Chevy 3100 truck that has been in the same family since new. It was bought in Valley, Alabama by the Dad and after his death the son got it and has had it ever since. He started the restoration on it about 8 years ago. It has a Nova front Clip and a Nova 10 bolt Rear with 3:73 gears. The engine is a 350 that came out of the same Nova and was completely rebuilt about 5 years ago. It runs great and has an Aluminum Radiator and Electric Fan to keep it running cool. The transmission is a Turbo 350 that shifts out like it should. This truck has been driven alot and often over the last 8 years. It has a very solid body with no rust issues anywhere that I have seen. The Flat Black paint has been on the truck for 8 years so it has some dulling. The interior is pretty fresh done in Red seat cover, Red carpet and Red headliner. The gas tank has been moved to under the bed. Dolphins gauges were installed and they all work. The Odometer is showing 25,875 miles. It has an after market AM/FM Radio designed to look old and fit in the original hole. He added a Chrome tilt column with a Billet steering wheel. It has power steering, power disc brakes and Vintage A/C that blows cold. The horn works as do the electric wipers. All the glass is good with no cracks and the windows roll up and down like they should. The bumpers both front and back are new. The dual exhaust sound good. All the lights work including the dash light and gear indicator light. The bed has a locking Tonneou Cover so you can carry luggage when traveling and your luggage will not get wet or stolen. The Rally Wheels look good on this truck to me. Drive anywhere!!
