1963 Chevrolet Nova

For bid is a 1963 Nova Convertible. It may or may not be an SS...I am unsure. I purchased the car about 9 months ago. I have too many projects so I am selling the car. The way I am selling it is the way that I bought it....I have done nothing to it.
When I bought the car it was advertised as an SS, but I am unsure whether or not this is accurate. When I bought the car the body tag on the firewall was missing. The person I bought it from said that when he originally looked at buying the car the owner had the body tag and that he actually held it in his hand. The guy was supposed to mail him the tag after he bought the car, but never did. The guy I bought the car from said he was able to obtain another body tag, with almost the same numbers as the original. I received a bunch of spare parts with the car, and the tag is supposed to be in with the parts, but I have not looked through all the parts (so it may or may not be on there).
I have not done much research into trying to prove or disprove whether or not the car is a genuine SS. There are many SS items on the car (badges, labels, gauges, etc.). It also appears on the sides of the car that some original SS trim was removed and that the original trim mounting holes were patched. In the end, you'll have to be the judge of whether or not the car is an SS. The VIN number is 30467W110878.

There is red paint under the white. There are some small rust holes in the trunk deck. There is some surface rust on the floor of the trunk. There is some surface rust on the car. It appears that the lower portion of the left side quarter panel was repaired (may be visible in pictures). The floor appears pretty solid, with some minor patching on the left side.

The top is in fair condition. There are no holes. The rear window is a little foggy. All the glass looks pretty good. Bumpers are driver quality. The odometer reads 65,855...don't know if it's original. There is a six cylinder in the car, but I don't think it is original. There is a power glide transmission in the car. The car was originally a stick shift car, and you can see up under the dash where the clutch pedal was removed. The engine does turn over, but I have not started it. When I bought the car, the seller thought with very little work the car could be a driver. The previous owner did put a new gas tank in the car.

The previous owner stock piled some spare parts for the car. I have not gone through all the parts, but I know that the following is included: new rear leaf springs and bushings, shop manuals, a manual shifter, z-bar assembly, an automatic console, a complete clutch/brake pedal assembly, trim/stainless pieces. Please ask any questions you may have. Buyer is responsible for shipping...I can help load.
