Description:

1972 Chevrolet C/K Pickup 2500 Cheyenne

I have this original 1972 Chevrolet Cheyenne 20 4x4 for sale. This is a sweet old truck and is in great condition for being 46 years old. I bought this truck to do a frame off restoration but have too many projects this I have decided to let this one go.This would be an awesome truck for what I was planning to do or just start it up and use it as a sweet daily driver. It is in almost pristine condition for doing that as you can see in the picture. It has some normal wear for its age but other than that is in great condition. The previous owner must have repainted it at some point because the clear coat is coming off on the hood. Not a big deal to address.

This truck has a small block V8 300 HP 350 crate motor bought from GM. It runs like brand new. Unsure how many miles on the motor. It has an aluminum intake and edelbrock carburetor. The transmission is a turbo 350 automatic.

The tires rims and hub caps are in excellent condition. This truck is also equipped with front disc brakes.

This truck runs and drives really, really well. It goes straight on down the road, stops well and does everything its supposed to do.4 wheel drive appears to have no issues.

The truck has all new upper and lower trim, all new interior (seat, carpet, dash, instrument bezel, headliner, controls) Everything on the interior works and operates as expected. Heater works better than my new truck. The only rust I can find in a small spot on one of the cab corners. Nothing major to repair. Floors all look to be in great condition. Rockers were replaced prior to be purchasing truck. Doors are in great condition top to bottom. All lights front to back work as expected.

Truck bed is in great condition given its age and use. The two saddle tanks you see were removed prior to me buying the truck but can easily be put back in if desired. They appear to have no issues as well. Caps and sending units remain on the tanks.

I hate to see itgo, but I have too many other projects to really devote any time to completely restoring it as I wanted to.. .

Good luck bidding. It s a nice truck and someone will enjoy having it.

Please inquire before bidding if you have any questions. Truck is sold as is. Pictures tell the story but ask questions if you have them. Serious bidders only. This truck is a true survivor for being 46 years old. I have all of the original papers and owners manual when the truck was bought new as you see in the pictures. Mileage shown is what is on the odometer.

A few other things I should mention:
The truck still retains all of the body panels it left the factory with. The front fenders, doors are all rust free and sold. The cab mounts are all good as well. All glass in the truck is good, this was originally a cheyenne and has not be cloned. The body is very nice and straight, not all hacked together. The parking brake works, horn, heater, defrosters, radio, hazards, reverse lights, all work. The truck has new front leaf springs, ball joints, tie rod ends, bushings etc. I've also replaced the fuel tank sending unit with a new one, the speedometer works, all gauges work, the front bumper is original and is in very nice straight condition. The door vin tag, frame vin numbers, SPID vin, vin trim tag, and title all matches. The title is clean and clear, no lien's and is in my name. This truck was not built to be a show truck, the inside of the box has scratches here and there and like I said before, the hood could stand a repaint. But overall this is a very solid tight old pickup that will make someone very happy for many years to come. There has been many thousands recently spent on it. Also the tailgate banner has been replaced with a new one, door weatherstrips are new, steering wheel is new, every light bulb in the truck is new, etc. etc. This is a turnkey truck, get in and drive.Buyer is responsible for any and all shipping costs. I'm more than happy to work with your shipper if thats the route you go.
