1948 Chevrolet Fleetmaster Sport Coupe216cid I6 Engine3 spd Column Shift 73,410 Miles*****My apologies to previous bidders, eBay would not let me modify the description of Fleetmaster or add more photos due to their policy. I decided to end auction and relist with a better description and more pictures of vehicle to give potential buyers a better idea of condition of Fleetmaster*******This is my personal vehicle and will be considered a "Private Sale. Clean TX... Title & Bill of Sale will be handed off to new owner.**If you scroll down to second picture, underneath second picture it has links to "View All Images" and "View Video". This is where you can see pictures of the interior, under-carriage, engine and also watch a video of car being driven. I found this all original Chevrolet Fleetmaster Sport Coupe years ago. It had been a Lubbock, TX car up until I purchased it 3 years ago. Original 1948 buyer owned a grocery store in Lubbock and second owner literally was the "Little Old Lady from Lubbock" that drove it to the grocery store and Church on Sunday's until she was too old to drive it anymore. This Fleetmaster is 99.9% orginal. The only reason the original interior is in such pristine condition is because of the professionally installed vinyl seat covers it had early on (maybe even from the dealership). You can tell the car has always been garage kept from the condition of the "Mayland Black" exterior. I have not been able to find any "rust through" anywhere on the body. The floor pans, truck pan, inner fenders, etc are all in excellent shape (being a Lubbock car is definitely a contributing factor). She runs as well as she looks with her fresh front/rear brakes, brake wheel cylinders, water pump, drive belt, carburetor overhaul, 90% new Coker tires, full exhaust system, new 6 volt battery, oil bath air flter service and fuel filter. When you take her out in public, nobody can believe how well preserved she is and being such a solid driver as well. Lots of potential fun at car shows, parades, etc. Please Note: Some of the under-carriage photos are before new exhaust system was installed. Also, I added some close up pics of the passenger side front and rear fenders. The "Little Old Lady from Lubbock" at one time scraped her garage center post driving out of her garage which created some scrapes and few small dents on passenger side front and rear fenders only. Please take note, it's has original paint and is 70 years old...it has rub marks, old tree sap marks, everything you would expect from an 70 year old single stage factory paint job. It does still have its shine and in great condition for its age.
