This 1961 Chevy Apache long-bed Fleetside truckis absolutley stunning in every way to look at and see driving down the road!These aircraft-styled, front pod, pick-ups aresuper hot right now. I love the look, it is the perfect Fire Company Truck! The Red/ White custom two-tone paint was done by the previous owner and still shines like it was just done! The original truck was black/white two-tone and rust free, the perfect restoration candidate.This is a top level driver quality truck that will drive down the road and will surely win prizes at the local car shows! This truck was restored 20 years ago and it's been kept in a climate-controlled garage since then. The paint is still perfect, as is the interior. It was driven two or three times a year the entire time and the owner always kept fresh gas in it. It starts, steers, runs and stops the way it should. This is the sought-after Custom model with upgraded herringbone fabric on the bench seat, two-tone interior, dealer-installed air, 4 Speed on the floor and extra chrome trim (including the rare polished stainless steel grill and bumpers), and everybody's favorite big back window. They didn't make them any better than they did this one back in 1961! The wheelwell covers in the bed aren't perfect but does not stand out. The speedo hasn't worked for about 10 years, although the mileage on it has got to be close. No more then 1000 miles were put on it in last 20 years.It needs a new antenna (the dust cover broke it off). All of the window rubber was replaced as were the fabrics for the main and vent windows. The windshield was replaced and the big back window is original. The gas tank was sealed and painted when the truck was restored. The wheels are original with their original hubcaps. The tires are from Coker and were replaced 10 years ago. No dryrotting anywhere. There isa custom dual exhaust systemthat sounds amazing. A modern radio was also added, at least modern for 20 years ago. It sounds great. This Apache Comes with Keys and Car Cover!!
