Description:
1967 Chevrolet Impala Impala
Selling my 1967 Chevy Impala Supernatural Clone. The car both runs and looks great. The paint and body have minor flaws--honestly though she is sharp! I finished restoring this car in early 2015 and have since put approximately 3,000 miles on it.
Mechanical details of the car:Original 327 engine (I have the protecto-plate to prove it), camel hump heads and quadrajet (fully rebuilt) carb.Powerglide transmission with 12 bolt rearend.Factory power windows and front bench seat.Power brakes (4 wheel disc) and power steering.Factory AC (which is not hooked up--I do have the brackets and compressor though)
Details of the restoration:All new weather stripping, window seals, body bushings and rubber seals. All new rims and tires.New shocks and springs (followed by an alignment).New 2.5" stainless Magnaflow dual exhaust (rear exit).Four wheel disk brake conversion.New aluminum radiator and hoses.New heater core along with all cooling/heating hoses.Put in an Avital security alarm system along with a power trunk release (both remote operated).Installed a Retrosound radio unit.New headliner, seat upholstery (reproduction 1967 Impala vinyl), door panels, mirrors and carpet.Painted the interior (light buckskin), frame, flooring, engine and of course the exterior (2k urethane super jet black).Wet sanded and buffed the entire exterior paint job.Built and installed the weapons box (along with interior trunk lights).New battery and 80 amp alternator.New taillight lenses, lower front eyebrow trim and rear trunk bowtie emblem. Some flaws that I do want to mention because I do not want to hide anything. These are things that are not serious but the car judge side of me wants to point them out anyway. The front windshield has a small crack that is barely noticeable in the upper corner on the passenger's side--it was there when I first got the car.The passenger wiper has left a very faint scratch on the windshield at some point in the car's life. The rear windshield has a few small scratches at the extreme lower corner of the driver's side (again barely noticeable). The rear bumper's chrome has scratches in it.The gas tank has a dent in it (see pic). It has always been there. Never leaked so I didn't worry about it.This last one is just to say that the exterior trim is not as shiny as what it was in 1967. It's great driver quality though. To appreciate this car you need to see it in person. That being the case I have no problems with arranging a time for you to look at it. If you have any questions or want additional info/pics of the car please feel free to contact me.
