Up for auction is my 1972 Chevrolet Impala. Overall, a very nice car in daily driver condition. Runs and drives very nice, does not smoke or leak. Tires are near new, brakes are good, transmission shifts smoothly. All glass is good, no cracks. 400 small block with 116K miles, automatic, Power steering, power disc brakes, A/C. The only non-original item is an aftermarket stereo. All options and accessories work well although the air conditioning blows cool air not cold air. Heater works great. Has original full sized spare and jack. Original fender skirts.
There are a few cosmetic issues that would need to be repaired if you want to make this car very nice...cracked dash, non-original carpet, one small hole in the headliner and the vinyl roof is weather checked. Body does have a rusted out area in the lower portion of the passenger's side front fender and a few small rust bubbles in the lower leading edge of the passenger's door. Aside from that, there is no other rust in the car. The body is very straight aside from a few small dings. No dents, no accident damage, all chrome and trim is intact and in very good condition for the age.
