1980 Chevrolet Camaro Z28 4-Speed Manual Transmission NO RUST Black Exterior / Red Interior VIN: 1P87LAL537018 Original Color: Dark Claret Metallic (76L) Original Interior: Carmine Cloth Deluxe (74C) Assembly Plant: Los Angeles, CA Engine Number: 14010207 PLEASE SEE THOROUGH VIDEO OF VEHICLE. INCLUDES WALKAROUND, CLOSEUP OF ALL BLEMISHES, INTERIOR, AND DRIVING CLIPS. Evolve Motors & Chicago Car Club are pleased to present this 1980 Chevrolet Camaro Z28! Exterior: - Car will come with a rear louver, which is in excellent shape. - Paint is rough on front bumper. A number of chips, cracks, and flakes. This is by far and wide the worst part of the car. Area around passenger headlight is particularly bad. See video for close-ups. - Paint on the rest of the car is quite good, with the exception of a couple nicks on the hood (again, see video), as well as a light scratch on the passenger rear quarter. Black paint has a bright shine to it and looks great against the red interior and red Z28 decals. - Glass and light lenses are all clear and crack-free. - Wheels in excellent shape. - Goodyear Eagle tires are in good shape. Lots of tread up front, at least 80%, with the rears closer to 50% tread remaining. - Window trim and weatherstripping in great shape. Interior: - Red vinyl seats in excellent shape. No scuffs, tears, or discoloring. - Door panels in great shape. No kicked-open marks or damage. - Dash has no cracks or discoloring - All gauges are functional. Odometer reads 41,884 miles. As the car is far from original, we are unsure if mileage is 41k or if it has rolled over previously. - Pioneer Mosfet radio is functional - Blower and heat/defrost are functional. A/C is not currently functioning. - Headliner is nice and tight - Carpeting is in great shape, with no stains and minimal signs of wear - Backseat in excellent condition Under the Hood / Underbody: - Extremely dry underneath. Only light surface rust. Absolutely no through rust. Floors and frame rails are excellent. No damage. - Believed to be original 350cid (#14010207) but modified. Bored 40 over, milled, MSD wiring, Accel HEI Super Coil, Holley 4bbl carb, headers. Runs well on pump gas. - On the road the car feels quite good. It fires right up, tracks and brakes straight, shifts nice and smoothly, and pulls hard. We are not aware of power output numbers, but our butt-dyno tells us this car is a good bit more powerful than stock. Overall, this car is a fast, fun, and dry Z28 that’s ready to be enjoyed by its next owner. It’s an absolute blast to drive with the 4spd manual. This car is willing to break traction at just about every given opportunity. And since it’s not a cosmetically original car, you can drive it with gusto without fear of ruining the value or history of the car.
