1963 Chevrolet C-10

1963 Chevrolet c10 pick up truck. I've been around this truck for about 9 years so I know it well... I chopped the top about five years ago. I don't remember exactly I think it was 4 inches I took out. I left the stock Sized window in back, (glass). New seal. Front window is new lexan, along with the side vent windows. The drivers and passenger side window remains stock glass and rolls up fine. I've put 4000 miles on this truck this summer. It has s 1968 straight 6 (292 I believe) w a 3 speed tranny on the column. The rear is air bagged w monster c notch, brand new dropped cross member. All new brakes as of this summer, wheel cylinder, brake lines, master cylinder. . The brakes work great . Later model Chevy truck seat. The interior painted w old DuPont candy paint. The exterior is painted epoxy primor (white). Body is NOT perfect, rather it has patina.... the front springs had some coils removed, but needs shock relocation mounts, new shocks or air ride the front. Not sure of mileage on the motor but it's never given me a problem. Motor has electronic ignition. Exhaust is inch and three-quarter straight back dumps out in front of the rear drivers side wheel. Comes with vintage aluminum camper top. It has wide white wall tires. HUBCAPS not included in auction. The two switches for the air ride, and the switch for the compressor is very clean on the dash. The clutch is good, however, the shifting on the column is a little sloppy, and you may find yourself having to open the hood and pull on some linkage to free it up if you try to manhandle shift .keep it lubed!! Like I said, I drove this as a daily driver all summer and tons of fun. Rear bumper I was told was from a old camper, I fabbed some mounts and it looks much better than the modern pan, or clunky old bumper. Please see pics and email w any questions. I can email more pics if needed. The frame is solid, it did have rust in all the usual places, I did what I could to make it as presentable as possible without spending an arm and a leg... I did all the bodywork, some parch panels were made, and welded in,some smaller holes were filled w bondo or fiberglass. It is what it is, not a show truck, but it does the job!! Located about 45 miles south of Cleveland Ohio. Also, this truck is and has been titled as a 1965 GMC for decades. It even has the Vin tag from a 65 that matches the title . I'm fine w that. The one picture in the auction shows right height. If I missing anything, I will come back and add details, possibly a video of the truck running. This is a no reserve auction, highest bid wins !!!!! (If you look at the interior pics you'll see 2 squares on the sides of the back window, I never welded them back in, also there are some small welds that I never ground down inside.... great truck for someone to take to the next level, or keep as is. Thanks for looking. Driven Daily.
