Description:

1957 Chevrolet Other Pickups

For Sale is a 1957 Body and Frame with 1977 K-30 (4x4) running gear. The 454 currently installed is in need of replacement, although it's running really well on 7 cylinders. I'm including a 454 from a 1977 RV with 60k miles, the block stamping looks like a GM hi-perf used on Corvettes and Malibus of 1977...looks very clean.
The trans, which is about a year old, is a built TCI, TH-350 rated at 650 hp, with a matched TCI towing/4x4 converter and cooler. The 4-wheel drive unit is a NP 203, full-time chain drive with High/Low and Lock in both. Warn hubs in front. Rear-end is 14 Bolt limited slip, 1-ton with Floating rear axles. 16.5" Aluminum "turbine" wheels with 33" Interco Super Swamper/Thornbirds.
Real-New stuff includes, 2 Alternators (100 amp Alum.Polished, 65amp GM), Aluminum Radiator with Elec.Fan/Shroud, Carter Elec. Fuel Pump, Alum. hi-volume water pump, Front End steering components, 1/4" Steel strengtheners at the rear axle frame arches.
Within the last 10 years I've replaced the Brake Calipers, Lines, Shoes, Pads, Master & Slave cylinders/booster,Warn Hubs, U-joints, Front Springs, All shocks, Gas tank/sender, Flowmaster Big Block mufflers, Dynomax headers, Edelbrock Performer manifold and carb. Crane Digital sparkbox, Mallory Unilite distributor, Entire interior,... including All gauges.
So, that's essentially the package. The negative aspects are in the body-work. A front fender needs replacing (about $400. purch) as well as the steps, a cab corner and the tailgate, and some smaller rot spots which all can be dealt with for a few hundred bucks of patch panels. The frame is painted Allis-Chalmers orange and real clean. Body is black primer.
If you appreciate the items in the above package and are serious about buying this thing, I'll send you more specific pics. It needs the bodywork done "now"....before it becomes a big issue....I just don't have the time or the garage.
No trades, .......no separation of engine from truck,.....
