Description:

1951 Chevrolet Other Pickups

I'm selling my 1951 Chevy Half-Ton. It was a daily driver until it spun a rod bearing in 1985. It has been parked ever since in the dry Colorado climate.
This truck needs total restoration. The doors latc, windows are operational. Electrical wiring basically intact - lights work, heater fan works. This truck has not been scavenged or pirated for parts. Only the spare tire is missing. The gas tank is sound and drained. It has been disconnected and sits in the cab. The seat has been stored outside. The seat frame is intact, the cushions would need replacement. The head liner has been removed and the underside of the roof has some surface rust.
There are two small rust holes, in the back corners of the cab. Otherwise the cab floor is whole. The running boards do not have rust holes, the box is sound except for a bed attachment strips . As you can see the bumpers are intact. The wood bed needs to be replaced. . The truck is has lived in Colorado it's whole life. There is surface rust as you would expect, but all in all the body is mostly sound. There is much less rust than other trucks of this vintage I have seen. As you can see in the photos, the fenders aren't perfect but are free from large dings and creases.
Truck is located 10 miles west of Boulder, CO up mountain driveway, accessible to most all vehicles except a full size semi car hauler.
This truck has great patina and is perfect for a rat rod or a complete restoration. The fenders are not perfect but are not badly rusted or dented.
Payment: Deposit within 24 hours via PayPal. Final payment either cash or cashier's check. Cashiers check must clear before truck will be released.
