Up for auction is a two owner from new, 1938 Chevrolet Deluxe Coupe with only 83,865 original miles. This is a nice driver quality Chevy Coupe. The original 216 engine runs smooth, is quiet with it's new exhaust and clutch is good. Transmission shifts nicely and the car goes down the road as it should. The present owner has owned the car for 36 years and has the original title that came with the car when new. The car has a older repaint with PPG Concept in (Desert Red)and the paint shows well. The underside of the car is original and unrestored. Very solid with no rust out. (please look at pictures closely) The bumper's have been re chromedand look very nice. Grill is its original and is straight. The running board covers are new and it running Firestone 650X16 Wide White's, with only a few miles on them.New brakes were installed on the rear and new brakes with new master cylinder, wheel cylinders and brake shoes for the front come with. The brakes work ok and fronts are good but the ownerbought all newjust to freshening them up. Theirs a box in the trunk that camefrom the car's first owner that holds its oldtools and the tools comes with the car.The interior is a complete LeBaren Bonney/ Hampton Coach kit, installed in 2000 bylocal well knownupholsterer.(its very nicely done) This Coupe comes with many options as you can see by the pictures, they are:
