Description:

1964 Chevrolet Bel Air/150/210

1964 Chevrolet 2 Door Bel Air- I have owned this cool vehicle for about two years. I purchased it from a local gentleman. He purchased the car from a family in St. George, Utah. I have kept receipts of maintenance and improvements done since my ownership. The following is a list of recent maintenance work done: oil and filter change, transmission fluid and filter change, new fuel filters, new air filter, new Delco rebuilt alternator, new voltage regulator, new rebuild starter, new reproduction radiator and heater hoses/clamps correct for a '64, replaced distributor points with Pertronix electronic ignition module, new AC Delco distributor cap and rotor, new AC Delco battery, new valve cover gaskets.
This '64 is in excellent driver condition, it's mostly original, shows apparent regular maintenance, drives solid, gets a lot of attention, and best of all, economical to own. The miles shown on the odometer is approximately 18,800, not sure if that means 118,800. The car shows signs of wear beyond the 18,800 miles, but less than 118,800 miles. The '64 starts, stops, runs, and steers as a 1964 vehicle would. Running gear, brakes, and steering components are original, modifications include Air Ride suspension, Riddler wheels with polished lips (18x8 Front, 20 x 10 Rear), more aggressive dual exhaust (louder than stock, exists before rear axle), amber sealed inner headlights and E-code Cibie outer headlights. Regular maintenance appears to have been done along the way. I have found newish brake liners, suspension bushings here and there, radiator, plug wires and plugs, hoses, and regular maintenance items. All lights, wipers, horn, radio, heater, locks work as they should. I recently changed a few emblems and trim pieces that appeared below par for the vehicle, when available OE parts were used, other pieces were mostly GM reproduction parts. The exterior color was originally metallic green, this can be seen on the interior A pillar, The current exterior paint is single stage, some minor blemishes have bleed through, few paint chips and flaws here and there, paint is equivalent to a very good-excellent single stage driver paint job. No rot rust have been found, some surface rust, mostly on undercarriage items not painted or coated with some kind of rust protection. The interior is very original, carpet and rear parcel tray have been changed, front seats cushions have lost their puff, now like a comfortable springy couch. the original door panels are warped near the bottom of the doors. Air Ride component (pump and tank) reside where the spare tire was originally mounted. Car does not come with a spare wheel, jack, and tools.
