1960 Chevrolet Impala --

West Coast Classics presents are proud to present a rare and exceptional example of this all stock 1960 Chevrolet Impala 283 V8 2 door Hardtop Coupe with the Turboglide automatic transmission and finished in it's original and highly desirable 'Tuxedo Black' factory color (Code 900) paint with its original matching and striking 'Black & White' (Trim code 809) two-tone 'Houndstooth' cloth & vinyl interior and trim. The car's factory options include the 283 V8engine matched to the 'Turboglide' automatic transmission, Heater, Pushbutton Radio, full carpeting, rubber floor mats, dual backup lamps and, as introduced by Lincoln some years earlier, the striking image of a visible rear spare wheel resting on the trunk lid and extended bumpers, otherwise known as the optional "Continental kit".
This particular example is very stock and original in its original and very desirable factory colors and with its original equipment including the radio and with a very straight body and rust free body. This car must be seen and driven to be fully appreciated - the engine is extremely strong and responsive, the transmission shifts smoothly through the gears and the engine temperature always remains cool. The car's original color 'Tuxedo Black' re-paint is of a very high quality and in very fine shape and the car has very few flaws.
As with all other full-size GM lines, the cars were finished with the knee-banger, wrap around windshields and tailfins and the front end sported a full width grille with dual headlamps mounted at each end. The car boasted all the regular Bel Air equipment plus Nylon pattern cloth seats, electric clock, full carpeting and dual backup lights.
In summary, this is a wonderful example of an all stock 1960 Chevrolet Impala 283 V8 all American muscle car in its original striking factory color combination in turn-key ready daily driving and daily head-turning condition, most definitely one very collectible and attractive example of an early sixties full-size classic American muscle car!
