Description:

1959 Chevrolet Biscayne

This is a super nice 1959 Chevy Biscayne. It's a very original Arizona car, where it was garage kept all of its life, and is now in Southern California. It has always been in great shape, and was tastefully mechanically modified about 20 years ago. It has a built 327 ci engine with solid lifters, camel hump "Fuelie" heads, and tri power. I was told by the previous owner that engine was built by Keith Black, but of course I have no proof of that, but knowing who he was and the pedigree of cars and race cars in his collection, I wouldn't doubt it! The engine is very crisp, with no hesitations or stumbles, and is matched to a smooth shifting 4-speed T-10 trans. It runs strong! This is a fun car to drive, supple ride, stops great with drum brakes, and a really nice exhaust note.
Original color was a light blue. The body is super straight and original. Paint is older but nice, with no noticeablescratches, chips or nicks. The car has great chrome, and a super nice interior. American mags and new BFGs, flow master mufflers. There are no telltale signs of rust or rust repair, and the car appears to be collision free it's entire life. Great car that's ready to enjoy - don't miss out on this!!
