1957 Chevrolet Bel Air/150/210

You are viewing a very custom 1957 Chevrolet Bel Air Wagon. This car has been a multi-year project with all work completed by Hot Rod’s by George outside of Dallas, TX. If you know custom hot rods, you will appreciate the money and fabrication work this car has in it. It runs and drives as good or better than it looks and is very entertaining to drive. Since all work has been completed, the car has had 1400 miles put on it and is now parked. Unfortunately, the car is for sale after nearing its interior appointment due to health concerns and inability to enjoy its completion. The car has all original sheet metal with great “driver” quality paint. The glass is all in good condition with the exception of a chip in the newly installed windshield. All chrome and stainless trim is in good or better condition. The hood has had the “bullets” removed and is smooth. The firewall has also been “smoothed”. The original floorpans are in great condition as seen in the underside pictures as well is the rest of the metal having no rust. The engine bay is where you will see all of the fabrication hours. From custom stainless tubing, black anodized AN fittings to the smooth firewall, it really brings the wow factor. The engine is New GM Performance 502ci Short block topped with Edelbrock Aluminum Heads and 2 Four Intake with Enduro Shine. The MSD ignition uses a billet distributor with hidden coil. High volume Canton oil pan, custom fabricated valve covers and billet serpentine accessory setup. Custom full length stainless headers with stainless 3” tubing complete the exhaust to the rear bumper. The huge custom radiator has dual 12” fans and will keep the car at 180 degrees in the Texas heat. The transmission is a 4L80 custom with manual valve bodies and billet converter using B&M quick shift. From there you have a 9” Strange Rear end with 3.73 gear. The brakes are 4-wheel disk using 13” Baer (Front) Wilwood (Rear). The custom aluminum fuel tank holds approximately 25 gallons. The suspension and handling uses custom stainless A arms with drop spindle, coil overs, front and rear sway bars and power rack and pinion steering. 17” x 7”(Front) 17” x 8”(Rear) Torque Thrust wheels with 205/245 tire combo. The interior is where the next owner can set this car off. You are starting with a freshly wired car with sound deadening. The dash has been smoothed and painted and uses a Dakota Digital VHX gauge cluster. Also, installed and operational are Vintage Air AC/Heat, Four Bucket Seats (Power 4-way driver) and has black carpet. The photos show the quality of the car and any blemished are pictured. Noted blemishes are minor dents in tailgate as well as missing door handle guards with holes filled. Please see my positive feedback and happy buyers buying nice high value cars.
