1957 Chevrolet 150 Sedan Delivery. Rare car with less than 9,000 produced. This is not a converted station wagon. These are great for advertising or creating your own unique custom. They were originally used as small delivery vehicles for bakeries or hardware stores.
283 V8 with Muncie 4 speed.
AZ/CA car. Has clean AZ title. The odometer shows 54,000 and it drives as if it is actual miles.
It runs and drives well. The brakes are original style drums though and can use some work before regular driving.
The engine is a 283 V-8 with a Corvette intake and a 4 barrel Carburetor. For the right offer I have a set of original Aluminum Corvette script valve covers that can go with it.
The carburetor was rebuilt and the exhaust and fuel tank are new. It also has new tires. It starts right up and runs runs strong.The 4 speed shifts well and the clutch is strong.
The body is pretty solid The rear cargo area is pretty clean, complete and retains its original trim moldings. The rear spare carrier area is solid.The car does have the usual rust in inner rockers and a little in the floor. The spare tire carrier is solid.
The interior has later model bucket seats a nice stock dash and a rear cargo area that has older upholstery, the headliner appears to be original but has a couple of holes.
This is a great project or with little work enjoy as is. I was going to make a Gasser but now I am starting a business and lost my work space so it must go.
