Evolve Motors is pleased to present our gorgeous 1954 Chevrolet Corvette Roadster

We added this car to our private collection in roughly 2002. It was restored sometime in the mid to late 90's and has only had 711 Miles put on it since. The car has sat in our showroom in a controlled climate since purchasing it. It has been started regularly and kept on a tender at all times. This is an excellent driver and in truly great shape for an early Corvette. We just installed a new fuel pump, he car fires right up and runs great.

The body is as nice as you will find with only minor blemishes throughout. The trim and chrome is stunning and completely free of pitting. The cages on the headlights are as nice as we have seen. We note a 4 inch crack in the windshield on the drivers side (out of view). We believe this happened when rolling the car (push point on frame). While 54's were were known for their ill fitting panels and inconsistent gaps, learance and spacings this car shows surprisingly nice. The body is complete and we do not detect any accident repair. The paint is deep and shows in near show quality condition. We not some paint marring around the upper hood corners, uel door, nterior door jambs, nd near the soft top clamp down mounts. All normal spots for blemishes on these car. We only detect 1 light stress crack that comes from the drivers side (towards rear) corner of the hood opening and extends only 2 inches. It is subtle especially when the hood is own. Other blemishes are few and only small stressing in the clear coat or small chips or scratches from sitting in showroom for almost 15 years.

Inward the interior shows just as nice as the outside and we believe it to be almost completely original. The seat covers looks factory correct and the hog rings on the back side look consistent with the age of the car. There are a couple small nicks in the seats but as you can see they are in excellent condition. While the door panels show whiter stitching we believe these to also be original. We cannot verify either but have no reason to believe otherwise. The dash is complete and shows perfectly. The gauges, witches, nd accessories are all show in show quality. Excellent light patina is noted throughout on the switches and gauges and truly looks stunning. The car has it's original radio which powers up. The carpets looks very nice. All the paint under the seats and carpets look great and shows nicely. The rear boot area looks like new and houses the factory top. We believe the top frame to be original. I would guess the top has been replaced but it could be original. We note one of the rear hold down claws is not attached so it does not hold down the passenger side rear corner nicely. We also note a couple small scratches on the rear boot cover from the hold downs touching them when the top was put up. We touched up these spots. The side windows are present and in great shape, he slip right onto the top of the doors and meet the top nicely to keep water out.

This 1954 retains its original 6 volt electric system and wiring. The motor block was replaced at one point with what appears to be a 1954 261 6 cylinder. It has the correct Corvette head as noted above, long with the correct starter, arter carbs, nd the 2 speed power glide transmission. We replaced the fuel pump this past week. The car fires right up and idles nice and smoothly. It comes up to RPM quickly and drops back down to idle nicely. The car tracks nice and straight and drives down the road beautifully. We detect some normal oil under the car from the oil pan, rans, nd rear end. None of the leaks are concerning and the fluid levels hold just fine over long periods of time. The car shows a little smoke on takeoff but nothing you wouldn't expect from a car that has spent most of its times in a showroom. The lights all work as do the gauges and switches. We flushed the fuel tank and put fresh gas in it when we changed the fuel pump.

As you can see the underside shows really nicely. You can tell the car has sat inside since the work was completed. The rails are solid and straight. The car looks nice and square with not noted rusting spots. All mechanicals appear as the should and show road ready. All suspension mounting spots look great as do the body mounting positions.
