Description:

1955 Chevrolet Bel Air/150/210 Bel Air Sedan

If you are looking for a very solid starting point for your next project look no further. This 1955 Chevy is ready to be finished. This car sat in a West Virginia body shop for roughly 30 years before it was purchased by the gentleman I bought it from. He owned the car for the last 5 + years. The car is about as complete as projects come these days. Originally a blue and white car. I have the original bill of sale with the car along with an original West Virgina title. Neat things to have!
Body:
The car is very solid as you can see from the pictures. The car has its original GM sheet metal which shows minimal surface rust and minimal repair work that was previously done. The passenger quarter panel has a decent dent in it as shown in the pictures. There are no holes anywhere in the car, the trunk is very solid, floors are solid, inner fenders are solid. The underneath of the car does have surface rust but I would not anticipate any major metal work needed. All glass is in the car except for the quarter windows, but all window cranks are in the car. Garnish moldings are all present, a few not currently on the car but in a box. The car does not have a rear bumper and the front bumper can be used only as a core. The rest of the chrome is about how you would expect, it will most likely need replaced or re-chromed. Stainless is present but will need re-anodized or professionally polished.
Interior:
What you see is what you get along with a bottom rear seat. All seats will need recovered but they the frames and springs are in good shape. Door panels come with the car but will need replaced. The dash is nice, no dings.
The engine in the car comes with it, but like the interior, what you see is what you get. car will roll for pickup.
The car is listed to sell and the reserve price is set as such. Please only bid on the car if you are serious about buying it, especially once the reserve has been met. The car is listed for sale locally and as long as the reserve has not been met, the listing will be removed if a deposit is taken. If you have any questions or would like to see the car in person please call Jack at 330-502-8598.
This car would make a great original cruiser, a street machine or even a gasser. The possibilities are endless!
A $500 deposit is required within 24 hours of auction, buyer is responsible for all shipping costs and arrangements.

By window cranks - I meant window regulators. All regulators are in the car and working.
