Worried about buying a car because of depreciation over time? According to statistics, a car loses 10% of its value after being driven off the lot and an additional 15-25% per year. When you purchase a car like this, you can drive it, enjoy it, and actually make money over time as these cars appreciate in value every year. The 1970 Chevelle SS Convertible is the most iconic and sought after model of the GM A-Body being that it's only a one-year design. Because they are getting harder and harder to find in great shape like this one, the value climbs up especially as more and more people look to buy one. Don't miss out on an opportunity like this to purchase such a great investment for No Reserve!
We are the 'Name Your Price Tool' of the classic car industry. SO DON'T MISS OUT!

The Chevrolet Chevelle is a mid-sized automobile which was produced by Chevrolet in three generations for the 1964 through 1977 model years. Part of the General Motors (GM) A-Body platform, the Chevelle was one of Chevrolet's most successful nameplates.Documented as one of the greatest Chevelle's ever produced, the 1970 Chevelle was the highest powered Chevelle manufactured in the model’s lifetime, which ran from 1964 through 1977, and was the only GM car at the time to have ever topped the horsepower rating of the Corvette with its LS6 Model.

No Reserve Classics is listing this nicely redone and beautiful1970 Chevrolet Chevelle SS 454 for a NO-RESERVE auction! It's not every day you will come across a Convertible Chevelle with all of the goodies like this one has such as a fully professional rebuilt Big Block 454, a Turbo 400 Transmission, 12-Bolt rear all with very few mileage on, fresh Cranberry Red paint that shines beautifully, and SO MUCH MORE!

This car is a very nicely recently redone piece of history and is very clear that this car wasn't just some "backyard mechanic" job that you would be questioning the integrity of. The quality of workmanship when it comes to body and paint to engine tuning and drivability is of top notch! There are so many new components inside, outside, and underneath this car, I feel like I'm back in 1970 purchasing the car for the first time! This is as good as it gets as it has been fully rebuilt and the fact that this car drives like it is brand new,so don't scroll away! Again, this classic piece of history is going up for a NO-RESERVE AUCTIONwhich meanswe are going to let you, the bidder, decide how much you want to buy this car for. • FULLY DETAILED ENGINE COMPARTMENT TO FACTORY LOOK
  • Fully Rebuilt 454that starts right up, has a lot of power, drives wonderfully, and of course has the iconic and classic American Rumble to it!
  • Worried about purchasing a car that still has a carburetor? Not to worry, this engine fires right up with no hesitation or stalling out like most improperly tuned carburetedengines you will find out there today. YES, THAT MEANS NO THUMPING ON THE GAS LIKE ON MOST OF THESE CLASSIC CARS TO GET THEM TO START! Whoever serviced this drivetrain knows a carburetor and made sure that this engine and Holley 4-Barrel Carburetor was tuned almost as if it were fuel-injected!
  • Fully rebuilt TH400 Transmission that shifts through all gears properly and cruises down the road great!
  • POWER BRAKES that stop on a dime (especially for a heavy Chevy tank like this!)

  • Body lines on this car are very consistent throughout and clearly had its time taken on and not just thrown back together like most of these cars you will see.
  • This car has a very nice attention to detail and was worked on by somebody with the knowledge and patience of classic cars.
  • Original 1970 Chevelle SS Magnum Wheels with the iconic BFGoodrich Radial T/A tire that gives this car such an original look but drives so much better with today's tire technology!

  • All exterior components work such as headlights, turn signals, hazards, sidemarkers, tail lights, reverse lights, and brake lights! (For those of you who know & understand classic cars, you know it is very rare to find cars with fully working exterior street components!)
  • POWERblack convertible top is in good shape with no tears, splitting, or fading (again, components like these are super rare to find in good shape as most of these cars were abandoned and these were the first things to be compromised)
  • This car was clearly garage kept for most of its life and not driven much as a lot of the mechanical components have a vintage and original patina yet still all intact!!
  • Mostly new emblems around the car!
  • Correct Factory Style 70 Chevelle Cowl Induction Hood with Original Style Chrome Hood Pins!

Look below at how clean this trunk is!YOU DON'T FIND THESE CARS IN THIS GREAT OF SHAPE ANYMORE!
Also comes with the spare wheel, jack, and equipment!
To sum this car up, this 1970 Chevelle SS 454 is a work of art being that the entire drivetrain and body work was very professionally refinished/rebuilt, everything works so well, and it drives absolutely wonderfully! Although we cannot verify this car to be a true LS5 as we do not have a build sheet, there are many signs that this car is an original SS 454 such as the original round rally dash gauges (as opposed to the factory sweeper gauge), F41 Suspension, Boxed-Out Trailing Arms, the 12 Bolt Rear, etc. With that being said, we do encourage ANY and ALL potential bidders to please call up and ask any questions you may have about the car and come visit if possible as this ad just does not do this car justice for how beautiful it is and how wonderfully it drives. Although this car is very nicely redone, please keep in mind this caris nearly a 50 year old classic car with many original components and it may need some odds and ends especially as you begin to drive it more often.
