Description:

1951 Chevrolet Other Pickups 5 Window

Here is a running and driving project truck. It has got a GM front clip with power steering and power disc brakes. It has a 10 bolt rear. The engine I was told by the previous owner is a 1981 model 350. It runs really good and don''''t smoke. It starts right up and idles smooth. It has headers on it with dual exhaust. The engine is pretty much stock. It has an Eldebrock intake with an Eldebrock Carb and Accel Distributor. The 350 Turbo Transmission shifts out good and has a trans cooler. This is a running and driving driving as it sits. Here are a list of parts that are with the truck: Both Rear Fenders Front Grill Tailgate with chains Both running Boards Headlight Bucket for the one missing Inside window metal trim Glove Box door and liner Wiper Arms It has Tri Tech aftermarket gauges in it now but also has the original speedometer that you will get. The new speedometer needs to be hooked up but the Oil Pressure, Temp, Fuel and Voltage gauges all work. It currently has bucket seats in it as well as a tilt steering column. The shifter is on the column. The gas tank looks pretty new and is still located behind the seats. All the glass looks good and the window glass rolls up and down good. The door shut good and are tight. It has the one headlight that works, the taillights works as do the brake lights and blinkers. The rear bumper is from an El Camino I think. The floors are solid as is the metal floor bed. There is rust in the cab corner on the drivers side but the passenger side cab corner looks ok. The rear fenders with the truck has a little rust on them but not bad at all. These Chevy 3100 5 Windows truck are bringing crazy money when restored or even when rusty and patina. Alot of the hard work on this truck has been done. It drives very good now. With a nice paint job and nice interior this could be a very nice truck. It is not a rust bucket so you have something good to start with.
