1972 Chevrolet Camaro

This 1972 Chevrolet Camaro is a split-bumper bad boy all dressed in black. Everyone else might fear the growl of this coupe, but the serious V8 power under the hood will have you all smiles.Second-generation Camaros have aged well, and they rarely look as good as this one. Its slippery black paint is the kind that gives other cars nightmares. This paintwork not only looks like it steals the daylight, but it also perfectly highlights the cowl-induction hood, chin spoiler, and the ducktail spoiler out back. Chrome is used sparingly, so areas like the split bumper front, contoured rear bumper, dual exhaust tips, and five-spoke Torq Thrust wheels are real standouts. Arguably the best piece of brightwork is the set of hood pins that lets everyone know it takes real effort to keep the power of this pony car corralled.Step inside and the dark scheme continues with the door panels, grippy sports steering wheel, heater controls, and dashboard all in great glossy black condition. But, this sea of shadows is broken up in a few cool places. For example, the new sport bucket seats have nice gray inserts, and the iconic horseshoe shifter has chrome forks. Beyond the transmission is a set of integrated auxiliary gauges for oil, water, and temperature. All of these features seem like they belong on a very serious performance car, but anytime you want to go for a therapeutic cruise, there's an AM/FM/CD radio that's connected to a thumping stereo. So you can spend all day behind the wheel with your favorite tunes. The darkness continues under the hood. This 350 cubic-inch V8, which was bored .060 over is going to attract plenty of attention because everything that people expect to be chrome is now an eye-catching matte black. It now breathes through a 700 CFM Holley double pumper, includes a host of upgrades from the Edelbrock catalog, including the valve covers, performance air cleaner, and intake which channels air into a set of aluminum heads. All of this makes a spectacular sound thanks to the headers and dual exhaust which is comprised of a stainless "X" pipe. The TH350 three-speed automatic is seamless, and the 10-bolt rear end stuffed with 3.55 gears. Posi keeps the power strong all the way to the road. There's plenty of features here that make a great recipe for racing in-between stoplights, but there's much more to this Camaro. It's a power steering car with disc brakes up front, and modern radials at all four corners. So, this coupe might look like the villain at every car show, but it makes for a fine all-day cruiser, too. This Camaro has the right looks, sound, and overall attitude so we know it won't last long in our showroom. Check out the included restoration receipts, and you'll see that this is an amazing find at this affordable price. Call now!!
