Description:

1965 Chevrolet Nova COUPE NO POST

1965 Chevy II Nova Sport Coupe. The VIN states that this is a car that came with all the goodies the SS model did without the emblems and the 327. It looks like there is a 383ci engine in because I had to clear the stock 350 oil pan for the bottom end and a Turbo 400 trans. The front end has been redone with disc brakes, CPP deluxe mini subframe kit with tubular upper and lower control arms. The old tie-rod ends have been replaced with tubular, heim-jointed tie-rod ends from TRZ Motorsports that eliminates the dreaded "bump-steer" ride. The battery has heen relocated to the trunk. The bumper is from a 1964 Chevy II and the marker lights have been ran to the halos from Classic Industries. Brand new fender cover is in the trunk, brand new door locks, brand new wing window handles. The upper and lower door hinges have been replaced on the driver door and a brand new speedo cable so the car can be insured. The car has been garaged and has never seen rain. Hardly driven in the cold season and mostly during calm, warm weather. The fuel system has been completely replaced with a stainless steel fuel tank, new lines, new fuel pump, fuel regulator and Earl's fuel filter. Trunk decals, glove box decals, door hinge decals, air pressure door decal, and the 1965 owners manual all brand new. New CalTracs traction bars and mono-leafs were just installed at the beginning of the year. The car is damn near flawless; very minor touch ups on the paint that I haven't had time to get to yet. All the knobs and controls work inside, just needs a hose to connect to the defroster vent and the heater core was removed before I got the car. Great cruiser with a little bit of kick. Rear-end is still a peg-leg, no posi. It also has a B&M ratchet shifter and I replaced the shift knob with a Blue Moon beer tap handle. I really wish I didn't have to sell this car but my wife has come down with a severe illness, my son was diagnosed with type 1 Diabetes, and this sort of thing is not practical with the medical bills are starting to add up. I get head-turners and attention like crazy whenever it is driven. I love this car and wish I could keep it but can't at this time. Hagerty values the car at around $17,000 in its current condition and the insurance assesser for AAA's classic car insurance has it fully covered for $20,000 after the gentleman personally inspected the car. I do have to be firm on the price with little room to negotiate. You can email me or text me being that I work long hours and hardly any time to talk over the phone. Seven 6 zero 9 five 4 zero 7 eight 8. Gotta sell soon and do whats right for my family. Sorry...NO TRADES...Thanks. RYAN....HESPERIA, CA.
