i am selling my 1971 nova true ss matching numbers car, this car was taken apart in my garage and 2 yrs and hundreds of hours and lots of money to restored to close as factory as possible. i live in a development and could not paint it, but did a complete mechanical restore, this car originated in california and i have a copy of the title for proof. and has all the original floors and no after market sheet metal parts, all original G.M all electrical parts are nos delco- remy and ac delco, the trunk pan was replaced before i purchased it, i saved all the slips for everything purchased and will give with the car. i am setting a fair reserve pric, i will not give this awa, the only thing this car needs to be pristine is a good body man to paint i, the paint is old but color code correct it has chips and scratche, for its age this was repainted years ago, but still gets compliments and shows well. no cars are perfect. this car is a true 1971 ss 350-270 horse power matching numbers with m-20 4 speed matching numbers and 12 bolt 342 open rear, numbers matching. only 3100- 4 speeds were produced this year and only one engine in the 71 ss, the block has the correct suffix code stamped next to vin indicating manual trans. information can be obtained at nova resource.com. i am going to give just a partial list of what was done, this restore is only 2 yrs old. i drive it regularly on nice days. any thing that could be blasted and powder coated has been done . --ITEMS THAT WERE POWDER COATED AS FOLLOWS:-subframe-trans cross member-upper and lower control arms-rad support-grill support-filler panel support-front inner wells original gm-grill support-head light buckets-exterior heater box-interior heater box-hood hinges-interior pillar post covers-mis engine brackets and mounts-front bumper brackets
EVERYTHING BELOW IS NEW AND ONLY A PARTIAL LIST-all wiring harnesses front and rear-interior completely removed and cleaned- the interior is almost perfect top to bottom, seat belts need to be installed ;i have originals and will -include just didnt get to put them in yet.-new dash carrier-padded dash-all new suspension parts, all moog no junk-new front shocks, coils and rear multileafs-aftermarket bumbers front and rear-completly rebuilt engine only 2000 miles on build, all machine work done top to bottom-mild comp cam with matching lifters and springs for a little extra power- winters high rise from a 69- 302 i have original with original carb i will include-every bushing and gasket on the car has been replaced-tilt column-new windsheild-factory 14x7 ss wheels with bf goodrich TA radials-classic car stereo with all matching speakers and factory rear deck covers-stainless brake lines and emergency brake cables- correct t-3 headlamps-matching locks and cylinders keyed correctly-stock correct manifolds into 2-1/2 " stainless flow master, good rumble tone-all window felts and guide, windows work smooth
