Classic Car Fusion is excited to offer this newly restored and customized 1969 Corvette convertible ZL-1 clone. Completed in 2012, this street/road race car has a custom built Shafiroff Racing aluminum block 509 with all forged and coated internals, T&D valve train, roller street cam, and road race oil pan. Mated to a new Performabuilt 4L60E "Level III Invincible" automatic transmission with HGM controller and a Gearvendors 5th gear electric overdrive for highway cruising (75mph @ 2200rpm) this Trans-Am style C3 is as comfortable on the freeway as it is on your local road coarse. Backed by a Dana 44 with 4.11 gears and a REM polished and reinforced case, this car puts down 640HP at 5900rpm allowing it to run low 11 seconds in the 1/4 mile. Traction is put down through Mickey Thompson Street Radial ETs wrapped around lightweight Bogart LS6 17x11 wheels, while J-56 brakes with ti rotors and Hydroboost helps bring everyting to a stop. The body has one off custom fiberglass Trans-Am style fender flares, front splitter and rear spoiler. Below is a list of more engine and suspension components.

Tordh red paint
is two stage Deltron, 5 yrs old, always garaged. Car is Best Of Show
winner at Corvette Spectacular 2016. Quiet under-car exhaust has
custom tuned- length Tri-Y headers, large Helmholtz resonators and 3
mufflers. Faux side pipes are removable, always cool and wont burn
your legs.
Engine valvetrain uses T & D shaft system with Beehive springs and Ti
retainers, hollow-stem 2.25" intake valves for 6400 rpm peak with a HR
cam. Mallory Hyfire IV has built in rev limiter, MSD electronic
distributor has dialed in timing curve. Quickflow SS 780 VS carb
provides super atomization into an Edelbrock dual plane port-matched by
Tony Mano to AFR Magnum 290s. Vacuum is 10" at idle, Hydroboost
brakes run off the P/S pump. Brakes are strong J-56s with Ti rotors by
Red Devil Brakes, Hawk street pads.
Head lights are NOS 1969 manual units, work fine, but no vacuum
actuators. No A/C, no Heater, no P/W, no P/S. California car. Has top
grade dry cell battery and High Torque MSD starter with heat shield,
oversize battery cable for minimal voltage drop to starter and extra 4 ga
wire direct from alternator to starter post, full circuit high output 5
wire alternator. Seat frames are stock 1969 manual ball-handle adjust
fore and aft.
