1972 Chevrolet Chevelle Convertible
We are offering this1972 Chevelle SS Convertible for auction. This is a true behind-the-barn find from Virginia. It is all original includingthe paint. I believe the mileage is original as well. We did swap the front seat with a better one as the critters had eaten most of it! The Drivetrain has not been touched and is all original and intact. The engine has not been run in over 30 years. The car has obviously sat too long with the top having deteriorated and allowed moisture to pretty much destroyed the floors and trunk pans. The frame is really nice however as are the rocker panels. This is a perfect candidate for the one piece floorpan and trunkpan which wekeep instock as well as the fenders,quarters, and otherbody panelsit will need. The options are power frontdisc brakes, tach and gauges, power top, tinted glass,etc.The convertible top frame is in nice shape. The dash housing is excellent with no extra holes or cuts around the radio area. The documentation is extensive consisting of the protectoplate, bill of sale and shipper documents as well as receipts and more.This car is well worth restoring for someone with ambition andtime on their hands.
