1969 Chevrolet Nova SS

THIS IS A NO RESERVE AUCTION WHICH MEANS HIGHEST BIDDER IS CONTRACTED TO PURCHASE CAR. DO NOT BID UNLESS ALL FUNDS ARE AVAILABLE TO COMPLY WITH PAYMENT TERMS BELOW. ALSO, PLEASE HAVE ANY AND ALL QUESTIONS ABOUT THE CAR ANSWERED AND/OR HAVE CAR INSPECTED BEFORE PLACING A BID. I am the 3rd owner of this very original and rare 1969 Nova SS 396/375hp L78 car. Theoriginal 396 threw a rod in 1973 and the 1st owner traded the car to a dealer where they replaced theblown 396 with a stock 307. The original owner also had the car repainted red after a minor accident to the right rear quarter panel which was repaired with a 1/2 quarter. Damage was confined to lower quarter panel only and there was no frame damage whatsoever. The original color is Cortez Silver which you can see inmany areas of the car where the red enamel has chipped (ie, under hood, trunk, door jambs). The original black vinyl top is still on the car and is in excellent condition. The 2nd owner who is now 80+ y/o bought the car for his daughter and then drove the car himself for several years.I have owned this Nova for 3 years and it is exactly as it was when I bought it from the 2nd owner. I do have contact info for 2nd owner.

This is a very rare Nova SS that still has its original CX code Turbo 400 transmission Only used in the L78s. There were only around 1400 1969 L78 Novas with the CX Turbo 400 automatic. This Novaalso has its original and working gauge package with 6K redline tach also only used in the L78s. Also present on the car is its original large singe fuel line with the blue retainers again only used on the L78 cars. The original 12 bolt rear endand power front disc brakes are also still on car. The original Harrison radiator with coded tab is also there. This car does run and drive but the brakes are very soft due to sitting for several years. Brakes will need to be gone through before driving.

The body, trim, and glass are all original and in excellent condition with the exception of the right rear 1/2 quarter that was replaced asI mentioned already. This car is super straight and virtually rust free with the exception of some scale in the trunk pan, typical surface stuff underneath, and slight bubbling at a very small spot under vinyl top next to rear window trim.

The interior of this Nova is in near mint original condition with the exception of two small cuts on drivers seat. Original working AM radio and clock (intermittent) are also present.

All 4 original SS XT coded wheels are still on the car as are the rear spiral shocks and one T3 headlight. With the exception of not having its original engine, this is an extremely well preserved 1969 Nova SS 396 L78 car. The miles are 79,750 which I believe to be original. Unfortunately, I do not have any original paper documents with this car but it is possible that there is a build sheet to be found somewhere on the car. I have owned several original L78 Novas and Camaros over the years and anyone that really knows these cars though will not deny that this is a real deal 1969 Nova SS396 L78 automatic car.

I reserve the right to end auction early. A $500 deposit is due within 24 hrsafter auction end with balance of purchase price due within 3 days after auction end. Shipping is at the full cost and responsibility of buyer.

Please have all questions about the car answered and/or inspect the car or have someone inspect it before placing your bid. My name is Donnie and I can be texted or called at 561-876-8038 for any further questions about car. Thank you.
