1968 Chevrolet Camaro RS Convertible

You are viewing a nicely preserved and very rare 1968 Chevrolet Camaro RS convertible. This Camaro is the perfect example of what you may have seen driving down the road back in 1968. With a push of a button the power top goes down, and the fresh air blows by. The cockpit design of this first gen Camaro is iconic, and the stock drivers seat positions your body in the perfect configuration to give you ultimate control. The sinister look of the front hideaway head lights never gets old, and the car looks like its already won the race even while sitting still. Push in the clutch and shift into gear...The sound of the stock V8 exhaust roars with the sound of Horse power.
Simply put.. this car is like a "Time Machine". From the Matching numbers drive train down the the original AM push button radio the RS convertible screams original.
I've been given the opportunity to spend some time behind the wheel of this Camaro and i will say I'm pleasantly impressed with the full functionality of this car which includes a 4 pod gauge cluster center console, tick tock tack, and the original Ice Cold AC. Everything works on this car, and as you can see its been meticulously cared for its entire life.
This car has had one respray since new which looks to be in excellent condition throughout. The body is laser straight with only minor ware and tare to speak of from normal everyday driving. The 327 motor was rebuilt a few years back and the 4 speed transmission sports a brand new clutch & pressure plate.
The interior of this car is in good original shape. The carpet is a bit faded in areas but over all the interior looks really good with only minor ware and tare. The seats are also in great shape with no tares or rips to speak of.
All in all this is a nicely preserved well kept Camaro that would make any new owner proud to drive and enjoy!
