I am a California resident, but have been working in Illinois for the past 5 years. SO I had the truck shipped her and worked on it, showed it at local events in Northern Illinois and Wisconsin. It has been kept in my 3.5 car heated and air conditioned garaged since it's arrival. Never seen bad weather or winter. (unless it peeked out the garage windows...)
I have owned it for about ten years, Clean California title, Current (renewed in May) Black California plates, Insured by Haggerty.
I got a bad itch for a '56 Belair, so this truck and my project 68 Mustang must go soon. Email me if you have any questions.
And yes, it can be driven anywhere, with confidence.
