Hello, I am selling my very nice, Polo Green Metallic 1992 LT1 Corvette. I looking to buy a home in the future and would like to make some room.
1992 was the first year for the new LT1 small block V8. This engine is mated to a German built, ZF 6-speed manual transmission and a 3.42 rear axle. Driving this car is an absolute blast! this Corvette is no slouch and very well balanced.
This car is very mechanically sound. It runs, drives, stops, starts and shifts flawlessly. Lots of power, no oil consumption or oil leaks. A/C needs to be recharged, heat works great, cruise control works great. Not driven in the winter and it rarely sees rain... always garaged and covered when not in use. Odometer shows just over 145,000 Miles.
Very recent maintenance includes:
- Brand new opti-spark distributor- New spark plugs and wires- New coil- New Exhaust o2 sensors- Throttle body cleaning and gasket- Fresh oil change (Mobil 1 full synthetic) and air filter- Full coolant flush with fresh antifreeze (converted to conventional green antifreeze)- U-joints replaced on rear drivers side half shaftTires are Goodyear Eagle F1's and appear to have 85% tread life remaining. No cracks, splits or air leaks. Exterior is in excellent condition. Paint is uniform and very presentable with the only downside being a hand full of rock chips on the front bumper and a section of spider cracks on the center of the hood (see picture). Interior is in near perfect condition. seats, carpet, dash and plastic trim are in beautiful condition. These cars are starting to become difficult to find with such a well maintained interior. Non smoker and has no major rattles or squeaks. I'm sure there is much more to list... if you are in need of more pictures, I have a lot more.
