1958 Chevrolet Impala

Trim tag shows car was originally Green/Green with padded dash option. Body was removed and frame was sandblasted then painted. New suspension was installed; front and rear coil springs, shocks, ball joints, etc. Installed new front disc brakes with new power brake booster, dual master cylinder, distribution block, new brake line, and new fuel lines. Power steering rack installed.
Body: Installed new inner and outer rockers, floor pans, trunk pans, lower front and rear quarter panels, and rear trunk panel. Repairs were made to lower area of doors and fenders, D side trunk rain gutter area, and lower trunk lid area. Seat belt anchors installed. Rust free and dent free hood installed. Entire body has been taken down to bare metal and sprayed with grey primer. Pics show body with NO body filler. Fenders and doors have not been properly aligned yet, so fenderscan beeasily removed to finish under hood work (see pic 5).
Drive Train: Professionally rebuilt rear differential; new gears, bearings, and seals. Professionally rebuilt TH200 R transmission with special TH200 R transmission mount. Professionally shortened and balanced drive shaft with new U joints. Professionally rebuilt 350 CI Corvette motor (.30 over), new HD distributor, water pump, starter, fuel pump, etc. Aluminum intake with Carter 650 Competition carb. New dual exhaust system installed.
Parts: Rust free fan shroud, and radiator support. Nice inner and outer heater box with heater core and element (with cover) installed. Re-chromed front and rear one piece California bumpers with nice center bumper inserts. Re-chromed rear top scallop. Front and rear seats with nice rear speakerassembly and pop up rear center arm rest. Almost all stainless (needs polished). Parking brake assembly installed.Four new 15" tires on Corvette Rally wheels. I do not have any glass. You can buy all the glass for $650 from Auto City Classics. I have a $500 gift certificate to Auto City Classics that is included with the sale.
I have over $15,000 and +500 hours of my labor invested in this car. Fully documented work with receipts and +300 photos. I spent over $500 getting a Court Ordered VIN and Title (titled as a 1958 Impala). I was going to make this an American Graffiti replica. Need to sell because we are moving and I am losing my garage space. You can decide the interior and exterior color you want to finish the car.
If the bid reaches $14,000 I will include an Edelbrock 2x4 aluminum intakeand (2) 1964-65 Corvette AFB carbs with new linkage and fuel lines (see pic 23).
