Camaro Z/28 RS. The 1970 Z/28 was simply the best all-around Z ever built. The Camaro had matured; it surpassed its predecessor in refinement acceleration and balance. The Z/28 returned with a timeless small block the 350 ci LT1 at the heart of the package. The new engine boasted solid lifters a hot cam big valves 11.0:1 compression and a 780-cfm Holley carburetor. Rated at 370 bhp for the Corvette and 360 in the Camaro. The '70 model year was shortened due to strikes at GM and showroom models would lose power after this year beginning a long performance decline. The incomparable '70 then was an apt exclamation point to the Z/28's muscle years. Assembled at GM's Van Nuys facility in May of 1970 this Z/28 R/S has received a complete nut and bolt restoration. Finished in its correct code 67 Classic Copper paint with code 10 Classic White stripes matched with correct code 730 Sandlewood knit vinyl interior this is one of the best looking Z's you can find. The period correct LT1 engine Muncie 4-speed Trans and 3.73 geared 12 bolt rear diff. have been rebuilt and restored to exacting standards.
