Description:

1938 Chevrolet sedan chrome

I am selling this, all steel, 1938 Chevy Custom four door sedan - ONE OF A KIND - this is one of the nices, all steel, 38 Chevy you will ever see.

Let me start by saying that I LOVE THIS CAR. This understated custom has several off frame body modifications! The front has a 70's Chevy front end. This car looks and drives excellent! The interior is very clean and in great shape as well! Overall this car is very clean inside and out and looks excellent!

I have owned this car for about one year. It was at a Classic Shop named PAPI's garage. ( PAPI's has a web site in Tupelo MS). The body is super straight!!! The paint is nice but it is an older paint job. You would have to look hard to find any problems. I have made a few improvements that were needed, which I will explain a little later with pictures. (Spot painting the trunk lid). The Chevy has a killer sound system. I am selling because I have reached an age that makes giving this lady the attention and improvements she deserves not what I can keep up with. She is ready to go to local shows but needs more attention to play in the big league. She is perfect for cross country car rides

The following are features:

1. Interior is faux black leather 60/40 front, 305 engine, 650Edelbrock Carburetor, lots of chrome on the engine, elect fan, Automatic 350 Transmission, 70's Chevy Front suspension, All four Disc Brakes, black high gloss Wheels w/red&blue stripes, tires are fusion 15 on the front and starfire 17 on the back, power steering, aluminum faced gauges, sonny sound system w/electric antenna, new sun visors, tilt steering, new chrome everywhere. The door inserts are new and the doors shut tight, see picture. Suicide rear doors

The bottom of this car is NOT clean and perfect as the top.The car was set up low at first and the pans were beat up. They do not leak but do seep over time and they do not look good, so I have purchased all new pans for the oil, Trans and fly wheel. I also have all the oils to replace new. I just do not feel like lying on my back any more, so all of the parts go with the car.

In one picture you can see my finger by one repair. The heat, over time had split the stitching at the top of the back seat. I closed them up with metal clips and covered with faux leather. In another picture you will see the bottom of the trunk lid. There was some rust on the very bottom and I removed the problem and repainted with clear coat paint. The color is not exact but after two tries to obtain an exact match I decided to leave it as is. Any white spots that you see in the pictures are some sort of reflections; there are no scratches on the paint. In one picture you can see a complete wiring diagram of the car.

This is also being sold locally so I have the right to remove this listing before the starting price is increased by a better bid. After the starting price is out bid, I will not sell except to the winning bidder. The winning bid does not include free shipping. There is a $1000 deposit within 24 hours of listing. It is the buyer's responsibility to arrange for shipment/cost.You are welcome to come and inspect the car at any time, please call the number below. Good luck and happy bidding!!!You will not be disappointed at all!!!!
