If you are looking at this then you have probably seen the Roadkill episode where the fellas remove all the body work and end up with a vette kart. They said it is the scariest vehicle they have ever made because of how fast it is. Let me tell you, they are right. Every time I have driven this thing it tries to put me in the ground. If you have not seen what I am talking about, go to youtube and look for roadkill vette kart. They have a few episodes dedicated to it.When they did it, they removed all of the computers and wiring and went with carburetion. I have left the engine computers in place with the thought process that adding turbos to these old vets is not that hard and would give this thing a power to weight ratio similar to that of the Atlas V rocket.
Because I am not a complete fool, I have added a NHRA certified cage, race seats, and five point harnesses. The box on the back houses the fuel tank and the battery. I took it to an autocross once and they didnt like my exposed battery and fuel tank. I added the box and got FTD. I think they were just scared because they knew I was going to embarrass they guys with 6 figure cars.
Anyway, they wire harness has been thoroughly gutted. The only bits that are left are what is absolutely necessary to keep the thing running. I added a VATS bypass chip and a custom fuse box to make sure that it runs consistently and safely.
The transmission is automatic which is my preference for autocross cars.
I have added headlights and brake lights so that it can be road legal in most states.
I do not have the title but I will provide paperwork that will enable you to get a title in your name.
