1972 Chevrolet Nova SS

Up for sale here is a 1972 Nova L78 clone. I started this project about 8 years ago. The starting point was an original V8 car from Texas. It was sitting in a driveway up here in PA for about 10 years before I went up to the door and asked if they would sell it. The car has new quarters, fenders, roof and hood. The rest of the sheet metal is all original. The resto was a full body off rotisserie. There are a lot of things that a trained eye can pick up on that are not correct for an SS but this is not a numbers matching build. This is just a build that I was able to do on my budget. Not all parts are NOS GM parts here. I achieved the look I wanted and I did an ok job on replicating what an L78 would look like. All correct brakets were used throughout the car. Correct rear lower shock mounts, and correct crossmember. The fuel lines are run correctly, brake lines correct, and the wiring was run in the factory locations. I did all the work on this car except for the body and paint. All the details and assembly was completed by myself and some helping hands. There is no carpet just and original style full rubber mat. Radio delete. New American Autowire wiring harness with the newer pin style fuses. All the correct appearing brackets throughout the car. The car was painted with Dupont ChromaPremier with 72500S clear coat. The color is 1970 Citrus green code 43. You may even notice the spare has green over spray blown through to the backside of the wheel. Everyone claims their paint is flawless. I would go as far as saying if this meets my price I will take off $50 if you can find a paint flaw on the exterior paint. The motor is a new GM crate 454. Correct Holley 780 cfm carb. The 4 speed is a Richmond Super T10 sitting on the correct cross member. And the rear is a 12 bolt with 3.55 gears. Pypes stainless exhaust with a cross flow muffler. I have a big write up and many more detailed pictures at.
