UP FOR BID IS A FACTORY1969 C-10 SHORT BEDFLEETSIDE MUSCLE TRUCK THAT RUNS, DRIVES AND STOPS. THIS TRUCK HAS A 454 BIG BLOCK ENGINE (THAT HAS A LOT OF POWER) BACKED UP WITH A TURBO 400 TRANSMISSION. ALSO IT HAS APOSI-TRACTION REAR END WITH 3.73 GEARS. IT HAS POWER STEERING AND POWER BRAKES. ALSO THIS TRUCK HAS AFTER MARKET WHEELS AND IT HAS BEEN LOWERED FOR A MORE AGRESSIVE STANCE. THIS TRUCK HAS HEDMAN HEADERS WITH DUAL EXHUAST (SOUNDS STRONG AND REALLY HITS A LICK). IT IS A OLDER RESTORATION ANDOVERALL IS SOLID FOR THE YEAR BUT IS NOT PERFECT. IT WOULD NEED SOME RESTORATION TO BE A SHOW TRUCK AGAIN. BUT IN MY OPTION THIS TRUCK LOOKS FINE THE WAY IT IS AND WOULD MAKE A GREAT DRIVER.
IT HAS A ELDERBROCK CARB WITH A HIGH RISE ALUMINUM INTAKE. THE INTERIOR LOOKS GOOD BUT THE CARPET IS FADED. IT HAS THEBILLET DASH BEZEL(S) AND BILLET GRILLE. AS FAR AS MECHANICS GO ON THIS TRUCK THE CARB WILL NEED TO BE CLEANED, REBUILT OR REPLACED. THE TRUCK SAT (INDOORS FORSOMETIME) AND HAD SOME OLD GAS IN IT. THE TANK WAS RECENTLY DRAINED AND FRESH GAS RAN THRU IT. IT RUNS FINE BUTYOUHAVE TO POUR GAS IN THE CARB TO GET IT STARTED UP ONCE IT SITS. IT WILL RUN, DRIVE AND STOP FINE BUT IT WILL NEED THE CARB FIXED BEFORE BEING ROAD READY. IT HAS RECENTLY HADNEW PLUGS & WIRES INSTALLED. AS WELL AS A BRAND NEW BATTERY, AND FUEL PUMP. THE MOTOR AND TRANSMISSION ARE BOTH STRONG. ALSO THE BRAKES ARE IN GOOD CONDTION.
