1970 Chevrolet Chevelle Super Sport

This auction is for a 1970 Chevelle. Itwith the rare L78 option, with documentation and receipts since the date of purchase. A significant amount of new or re-stored OEM parts were used whenever possible. Owned 13 years. Production date 10/21/1969. Sold in Ohio, third owner.

The Chevelle SS396/375 HP L78 Includes: Correct CE (factory warranty replacement)/CKO block, factory intake & exhaust manifolds,Rebuiltcorrect 4557 Holley carb (pictured), exhaust system/with resonators(engine to tips), tires, SS wheels, clutch, clutchfan, alternator, coil, wires, horns, water pump, fuel pump, buckets, console.All underhood, "show touch points" are correct to include: radiator cap, hoses (new) clamps, distributor cap, battery cables, oil cap, fuel lines, fuel pump, battery cover, valve covers, radiator top plate (the L78 & LS6 use a special top plate), headlights, bulbs, fuses, interior harness, correct factory jack and spare.Hood hinges have beenrebuilt. Small 1/8" dent along seam on top of hood. 4 Speed (M21)with Hurst shifter,12 bolt positraction (3:55). Dash pad has no cracks. Car is undercoated.

Original Build Sheet, (pictured) matching data plate,(pictured) matching windshield id plate and door decal, (matching serial number decal). All correctfactory stickers under hood (375HP engine), door, trunk details. No Protecto Plate. Correct owners manual. Bill of sale from previous owner will be produced to confirm mileage when delivered in 2003.

New: NOS AM single speaker radio & factory speakers. Wiring harness (all firewall to trunk), carpet, correct RWL tires &SS wheels, gas tank, fuel lines, tank floatand pump, headliner, new battery,. The passenger side floor repaired where previous owner raised car on floor pan, not frame. Receipts for all items.

Not OEM: Radiator (4 row GM but not original) brake booster(new Delco Moraine,but a re-pop). Dash housing, rebuilt gauges, clock was rebuilt but iskept it un-plugged for battery wear.

Significant amount of paperwork and repair manuals for the car. In point of fact every 1970 Chevelle related factory manual and advertising brochureall goes with car.
