Description:

1974 Chevrolet Nova Custom

The car started life as a straight six, but now has a '78 crate SBC 350 5.7L with Edelbrock top end, and TH350 trans with B and M Shift kit and slap shifter. I'm the second owner.
The car was painted fall '15, and all the body panels are straight without dents or dings.
I've been slowly working over the car, and it now has a bunch of new parts, with a battery, alternator, starter, Energy Suspension polyurethane body bushings, '72 mounted day/night rear view mirror, headliner, vinyl flooring, window seals, airplane seat belts, flywheel cover, temperature gauge, voltage meter, and oil pressure gauge, wiper blades, spark plugs, transmission pan, gasket, fluid and filter, Pertronix Flamethrower HEI cap, module, rotor and 8mm plug wires.
The car has aftermarket bucket seats with no rips, a strong heater, reliable windshield wipers, electric radiator pusher fan, and custom vinyl speaker-delete package tray. There is no air conditioning. The interior was gutted and pan and inside of body was painted with industrial rust-stopping enamel paint, and then covered with Dynamat. The interior panels are in good condition.
I'll includes service manuals, and misc extra parts for interior, ss badges, new radiator mount bushings, refurbished vintage Sun tachometer, vacuum gauge, multi-gauge, NOS rear window cranks, spare McGard wheel locks and other misc. I will also throw in a stash of automotive wire, service ramps and a creeper at buyers request based on the final sale price. I have the original seatbelts and other misc. I kept everything I took out. Modern radio, amplifier and speakers that are removed but included.
I purchased but havent yet installed new uninstalled Painless Master Kill latching solenoid kit, and Advance Adapters flexible transmission cooler lines. All of which I'll include in the sale.
The car runs and sounds awesome. It has a great sounding dual pipe and header set up. I love this car, but due to a persistent neck injury I have a hard time driving and tinkering.

The only issue the car has is a slow leak at the kickdown cable, and a minor leak at the oil pan drain plug.

The Nova is currently warehoused in Long Island City, Queens. NY near the Ravenswood Generating Station. Thanks for looking!
