Description:

1960 Chevrolet Impala 4 Door Sedan

This is a 1960 4 Dr. Sedan parts car. It has been Partially parted out. It comes with almost rust free front inner fenders, A good hood, has a small amount of rust on the front underside, but the top of it looks great. Both front fenders are very straight, there is a fingertip sized amount of bondo on the typical, lowest part of each front fender. Comes with radiator support, complete front suspension. All 4 doors, which shut very nicely. The vent windows and front window regulators have been removed since the pics. If I don't sell them separately by the time the car sells, I will throw them in. Just to be clear, the interior has been gutted. No dash, seats,no steering wheel. The rear quarters are VERY STRAIGHT. The fins are super straight, on the tops, sides, and corners. The concave section under the fins are Great. No creases or dents. That would be a bodyman's nightmare to repair those. There is body fillerat the bottom rear of each quarter, right where you'd expect it to be. But, if you need 1960 Chevrolet rear quarters, or parts of them, where else are you going to find such nice quarters? A good body shop can cut out what you need, and piece and weld them in to your car. Also, the front windshield channels are good, rust free, another hard to find or duplicate item. The doors are all good and solid. The door glass,(4 pcs.), go with it. No windshield or back glass. The floor pans are getting thin, and the rocker panels have holes in them. This car came from California, then sat outside in Arkansas for awhile. It's not a salt car. There is no trim left, no engine, trans, driveshaft, or third member differential. The axles are there, in place and will roll the car. I would like to keep the wheels and tires off the car. Local pickup only. Car is located in Hot Springs Village, Arkansas. Zip 71909. If you need more pictures, let me know. Same goes if you have any more questions. Like I mentioned, it's a parts car, and I have listed what's left on it. One more thing, someone has torched out part of the lower front crossmember to make room for a bigger Oil Pan. That could be easily repaired with a good welder. The front 2/3rds of the frame is almost rust free, the back third of the frame is surface rusty, from sitting outside, but it still seems to be solid. I tried to show it in one of the last pictures, as well as the cutout part of the front crossmember. Just so you know. Paypal is preferred. You will need a car hauler with a winch to get this up on your truck or trailer.
