I am anal when it came to getting things fixed or to as new-originalandwhen I bought this IROC, as I've always wanted one since watching the IROC match races in the 80s, I made it a Mission to restore I was not to spare a minute or hour of Laboror Item atexpense to get it right, to get it stock from the Cigarette lighter to the Engine Compartment Light andget it to be a hot and dependable OEM driver, for both me and my wife. We get thumbs up everywhere we go!

This IROC IS READ, Dependable, FAST AND FUN

OilChange 170 miles ago @12,500--still Gold!

I had everything from interior and mechanical professionally installed, rebuilt or servicedand more,

Original T-TOPS and covers with original strapsand Back Lid cover Perfect, Locking compartment option rear trunk left side rear wheel well,

We drove this IROC from Lake Tahoe to Van Nuys, California, after all work was finishedon her, onUS395.... speed run between Mono Lake and Mammoth Mountain.....and Mammothto Bishop California,we hit 126mphand 128mph,with no issues, no sputter or hesitations, until my wife started to freak out for me to slow down or risk a ticket, 91 octane/premium fuel----NO Regular fuel used since rebuild. 1044 mile round trip we used 43 gallons of fuel.

For you that know this Desert highway ....

Still lots more left in her, my guess is she would have no problemsdoingthe 135mph- 140mph Range,

The tickets will be your problem.

AVG. #s :

Top speed ratings were 149 to 156 in tech data Bone Stock according to Research.

My Averages were as follows,

Freeway On Ramp 0-65mph, 3 different on ramps all tested at around 7-8 seconds

Freeway On Ramp 30-65mph, 3 different on ramps all testedaround 4 seconds

Standing start, measured 1/4 mile, 3 runs,were timed at 15.4 @ 98.4mph, 14.7@ 101.03mph, and

14.8@ 99.3mph,

Keep in mind this is all equipped bone stock on 91 octane fuel no additives.

The only things to make this a brand new complete restoration/show car -- new exterior paint, interior needs1 small repair drivers frontseat, lower outside corner fabric, could be replaced,$70-$90 estimate Alameda Auto Upholstery,

I just hated the idea of painting her at a cost $3-4K estimate to match Original Quality and Color with a top painter (Spraycraft)in Reno Nevada, as I was setting this IROC up as a daily driver, drive anywhere, anytime,I did not want to cry atthe first newparking ding, as has happened to me on 2 other of my 1969 Camaros, a originalZ28RS and a 1969 S, Viper Blue 427 Yenko Tribute car, which I cannot just drive in any weather or to any parking lot without worries.

I bought this IROC with the intent of keeping her for a long time, and Irestored her todrive anywhere, anytimeand park anywhere, anytime and walk away, without worry in coming back to a new door dings or dents or chips. Now after purchase 4 years, andafter approx. investment of over $14,700 restoring her so far,not including the countless more unpaid personal (100's) hours in my work, on detailing and wiping and cleaning her and tinkering. Never thought id be selling.

The only reason I am selling now, my wifeJUST TOLD ME!WE arepregnant and our health coverage is limited on maternity(frickin Obama Care), and even though I want to keep them, Wife saysIshould sell one or twoof my Camaros,

(The Toys as she puts it), She loves them though I know!

I have collected and restored4 of them, to KEEP,and since 2001 they have been my prized possessions, But now its time to be a parent.

That, and thatshe wants a NEWSUV in our future, She wantthe new Jag F-Pace S- CROSSOVER, as a Baby Transporter Family car. Geezers!@ 65k

So my IROC, old baby,is the firstto goin order to make room in the garage and make our first, new baby, safer and comfortable.

Ask for more info and fotos, I have tried to cover everything and I'm limited to 24 photos.

I will also be posting a 1969 Z28 RS 72,000 orig. mile car shortly, starting bid will be around 60k, its a 1% production car, Dusk Blue/Dusk Blue/Dusk Blue, high optioned, 302/3 deuce car.

Keep In Mind!! Cars arefor sale locally in SF bay, Los Angeles areas and also will be in Hemming's, Auto Trader, andmay not be available if you don't bid NOW, could go anytime!!!!!! I reserve right to close thisauction early if another buyer is produced offline, or on another site.

DONT MISS THIS ONE, UNLIKE THE 2 OTHER 88 IROC's SOLD ON EBAY LAST FEW WEEKS,

THIS IS A 5.7 LITER IROC Z28- 350 TPI CAR NOT A 305!

Thanks for looking!!

GOOD LUCK---

In answer to questions from "Bob in Oregon",

Yes those are NEW OEM hood support pistons, the originals were not holding hood up fully, now hood stays up as it should no low pressure issue, I bought off ebay, Ricks Camaros, I believe the cost was $65.00 but I could not find receipt which is why I did not list in items I replaced, it was one of the first items I purchased, in order for Hood to stay up fully, it was tough to clean and work on engine compartmentwith the hood closing on me all the time, not to mention the surprise slaps to the back of my head when the hood would slowly come down. And yes both high and low beam headlampsare new.

In answer to "Tom in Santa Cruz",

YES, power windows work both sides no issues, Yes, power door locks work from both sides, but No there is not keyless entry this car was pre era for that and I do not know about having installed, its old school use a key to unlock.

In answer to "Steve in FL."

Yes Air Conditioner is "NEW"and upgraded, not refurbished, New compressor, lines, total system, total refit for use of new approved propellant. BLOWS super cold and strong and yes all setting work as new, and all fan settings work as new, professional removal of old system and Install complete new systemat Matthews & Sons shop,

In answer to "Tom in Oregon",

Your welcome, Yes I purchased it out of SeaTac and yes windshield wipers work all settings, I guess that would be important in Oregon, jejeje, I went to school in Eugene I know how much it rains, I spent probably 40 hours with a tooth brush cleaning all seams, moldingsand gaps and edges getting rid of pine needles, leaves and green slime like algaefrom the moist Seattle weather conditions when I bought the car, NO RUST! No ROT anywhere.

"IM A PROUD FIGHTING DUCK CLASS 1989"

In answer to "Jerry in Seattle"

The windshield wiper sprayer was working perfect, but I ran it dry oneday and now it only works off and on, I was told I either needed a new pressure fitting / regulatoror possibly just the lines need to be cleaned as I may have sucked something in(dirt or sediment)from reservoir tankwhen I ran it dry, it is original to the car, and was working fine when I had it in shop for all the work. the hoses all look good as well as fittings.

Also I Believe I am only the 3rd owner from my research not the 4th
