1969 Chevrolet Camaro SS 350

The contrast between high performance and a subtle color is always appealing, and this cool 1969 Chevrolet Camaro convertible looks exactly right. With deep luster in the white paint, a premium interior, and a period-correct 350 under the hood all with a wind-in-your-hair experience it makes it an awesome machine that delivers exactly what you want in a vintage performance car.1969 was the right year for the Camaro. The first-generation's appeal had hit its apex as more muscular sheetmetal met the right-size dimensions. But more than just looking like a pure power machine, there is an undeniable attraction when a droptop like this has undergone a restoration to make sure it has super straight sheetmetal and quality paint. The result is a classic convertible that strikes the perfect mix of originality with the right upgrades. This started out life as a Frost Green car, but you would never know that from the level of investment put into the pure white that was laid down by a very professional hand. From across the show field this one pops, and radiates the sunlight, and as you get closer the more modern white highlights every crease and curve in the beautiful Coke-bottle styling. The dual black stripes are a nice match to the crisp folding top, and they follow the factory pattern to finish out the aggressive package without being overbearing. Instead, this one let's the details do the talking with great Super Sport features like the cowl hood, ducktail spoiler, and front air dam - all of which together makes this an aggressive-looking ragtop that doesn't lose its F-body identity in the process. Excellent chrome bumpers and bright stainless on areas like the windshield surround and wheel wells add a bit of jewelry. And of course, everyone loves Chevy's iconic Rally wheels that are the larger 15-inch size.Beneath the black folding roof is a deluxe black interior, so this convertible keeps its color-coordinating appeal with the top up or down. The button-top buckets look and feel great, and it's always nice to see the matching rear bench. But an aggressive black interior doesn't feel right unless elements like the door panels and dash are also in great shape like they are here. Even with the deep black surrounding the car, this is far from an all dark affair. The wood paneling trim does a nice job of warming up the interior as it surrounds some of the best pieces, such as the SS steering wheel, upgraded AM/FM/cassette stereo w/digital tuner, and the desirable center console with iconic horseshoe shifter.Under the hood is something quite appealing. The 350 cubic-inch V8 looks exceptionally honest as the full Chevy orange paint of the block, intake, and valve coves radiate from the tidy engine bay. It's the kind of presentation where people will ask you if it's the original motor, and we do know that the block is a period-correct piece cast in 1969. But more than just look good, this V8 is a strong runner. It fires up readily as the newer stainless dual exhaust gives its bark of authority. And the four-barrel carburetor means this V8 has plenty of power to spare. It has all the right cruising features, including power steering and a stout TH400 three-speed automatic. There's even the modern grip of Goodyear Eagle GTII tires.Complete with owner's manual, this is the droptop legend you've been dreaming about. Great paint and great features mean this is a classic you will cherish if you're lucky enough to take it home. After all, there is nothing like a '69 Camaro convertible. Call now!!
