EXTREME VEHICLE! Modified 1939 Chevy, the body has been lengthened 4' and widened 2' to accomadate the WW11 Allision aircraft engine it holds. 1710 cubic inch, 12 cylinder motor has 1200+ hp, yet road legal! Body is in pristine condtion, so perfect people believe it's fiberglass, but it's all steel. Painted white with metallic royal blue design. Understated, classic look, but pop the hood and WOW! People wonder what this car is and are awed by it's uniqueness. Fire it up and folks go nuts! Road legal, it has a valid title and is plated for MI.
Motor was completely overhauled and came out of a pulling tractor. Supercharged motor is fuel injected. Has a 9" Ford rear end, and Chrysler transmission. There is an axillary fan and radiator in the rear end for cooling and to run the power steerin, alternator and extra water pump.
Interior has front bucket seats and rear bench seat of black and white vinyl. Black carpet and head liner. Dash has multiple gages, including airplane gages for looks. Automatic transmission has a stick in the center of the seats.
This was built by my husband, who suddendly passed away of a heart attack a few years ago. I am not motor savvy to give you many specs, but you can view many of the details of the building of this car on 2 Youtube videos, Allison Car and Allison Car Update. This was my husbands dream to build and it took over 7 years of work. A friend helped him, so I am able to get answers to questions from him should you have any. The motor alone is worth the starting bid. I will work with you on getting this car shipped, should it need to be done. Will come with extra touch up paint. I also have 3 more Allision engines to sell should you be interested in more motors, they do not come with this auction. A motor collector, he also had 2 jet engines and a turbine engine that i"m looking to sell, contact me if you are interested.
He had this car on the road for one year before he passed away. Because of the cost of fuel he trailered it to shows, so it has few miles on it. It was featured prominently at the Detroit Auto show, as well as other events and shows and won many awards. This could be your chance to have somethingtrulyone of a kind. Thanks for looking, and God bless you!
