1937 Chevy Coupe( LOW Reserve)True Barn find, this car had been sitting in a barn in South Texas for over 30 years covered under some tarps, it has a 350 small block with a 350 automatic trans, it has a 57 chevy rear end under it and straight axle up front, drum brake all around, engine has been serviced, new plugs, points, cap, rotor, radiator hoses, belt, fresh fluids in motor and trans, dropped the oil pan to look inside since it had sat so long and it looks brand new inside went ahead and installed a new oil pump just because I was already there, cranked it over and it fired right up it runs really well has a nice sounding cam, this is truly a 70s hotrod everything on it is old school, replaced brake hoses and master cylinder but brakes still need a little work, it does run and lot drive or it will drive up on a trailer, the gas tank needs to be cleaned so its running off a gas can, the body is in good shape it does have some rust but nothing major, the trunk floor and inner rear fender tubs are in great shape, the front floor pans need replacement someone riveted a piece of sheet metal over them, all windows garnish moldings are there window regulators work good, all glass is there and original, we installed a new gauge pod with oil pressure and temp gauge oil pressure is 50 psi at idle, the old school tach on the dash still works, the lights work, it would make a great rat rod or hotrod with a little work drive as it is, old school ansen wheels, almost new tires not very old, again the body is not junk it does have some rust that someone tried to cover up with body filler but I have taken some of the filler off and the rust is not that bad, the worst part is the inner tailpan which can be easily repaired, the doors close and latch well and so does the trunk.
