1972 Chevrolet C-10
This is my family project truck that my dad and I tore down to the bare cab and frame. This was not a full frame off restoration but all rusted panels were replaced including cab corner, door bottoms, and rockers. Bed was sand blasted to metal and rust mitigated. Paint is a single stage hot rod satin that looks great but has a few scratches here and there. Wheels have some scratches and curb rash and rear tires are getting close to needing replacement. I did not finish the bed because I use it for Home Depot mulch runs from time to time but it could be done very nicely for a little money and it would look awesome. Bed wheel humps are brand new and gas tank was relocated under the bed for safety.
The drive train is the best part of this deal. It has a newly rebuilt 454 bored out .30 over with a new crank pistons cam and rebuilt heads. Turbo 400 tranny was professionally gone through and rear end has a new posi unit. New cooling system with electric fan. It's a screamer down the road.
Suspension is lowered using cpp drop spindles and springs in the front and drop springs in the rear. Braking system is entirely new with a disc brake conversion on the front and new master cylinder.
Overall I would consider this truck an awesome weekend driver that turns heads and gets photographed everywhere it goes but is not a "best in show" truck. This is a great truck for someone looking to have something fun to drive every weekend.
