Description:

1966 Chevrolet Chevelle Malibu

Helping my dad list his 66 Chevelle, which is a one-year-only design and a pretty elusive car to find in nice condition for a good price. It received a light resto and is a very solid and straight muscle car. This is being sold way under-value due to the holiday season, so no ebay best offers are being accepted below the 14,500 buy it now. Email/message with any questions. Will assist and cooperate with shipping anywhere at the buyers cost.
Engine and drivetrain:The Chevelle has a 1979 Corvette L-82 350 engine and I believe the matching transmission. Engine has a mild street/strip cam, aluminum intake, 600cfm Demon carb, and HEI ignition. Rear differential is factory, as is the power steering. Car has a brand new "Pypes" brand full 2.5" mandrel exhaust system (with X pipe). This is an original manual transmission car and it still has the clutch pedal installed. Has new 1 wire alternator.
Paint and body:Rust cut out and new floors and trunk section welded in. Quarter skins properly tig welded in with a gapped butt seam, hammer and dolly'ed smooth with minimal body filler. The bodywork on the whole car is very smooth, the paint is fresh and is a 7.5-8/10, a very nice driver. Paint is 1966 Chevrolet Regal Red. Front and rear window re-sealed in place with modern-style 3m urethane. New front bumper.
Interior:Front bench seat is recently re-upholstered with a custom made black/white 2 tone vinyl, back seat and door panels all in good condition. Recent carpet. New dash pad. New package tray. Hurst shifter.
Brakes and suspension:Brakes are in good condition and adjusted, they perform great. Suspension in good condition. Wheels are American Racing Torq Thrust D 15x7 with 225/60/15 front and back.
Now here are any issues that I am aware of. Factory radio is in, but I am not sure if the dash speaker is good or wired. The 600 Demon was installed and tuned in June and currently runs a little lean with this cold winter air. The factory sweeping speedo does not work. The rear shocks are coil-over weight jacker types, and they make some noise on bumps. The hurst shifter is an acquired taste and if you've never used these hurst/b&m shifters before, it takes getting used to.
