1980 Chevy Malibu Base Sedan! Project CarThe GREAT:64k ORIGINAL miles for my grandmother won it in 1980 and basically only drove to church & the grocery storeNew plugs wires & air filterjust put in a new battery and fired it up.And I still have the original owner's manual.The DECENT:The body. A number of dents/scratches due to hitting the edge of the garage including one of the rear lights (see photos). Limited rust around the wheel well for a car this old but was garaged kept for all but last winter. Interior has scratch marks in the door from her little dog but other than that it is all original and in very good shape considering the age.The BAD:After taking it to my mechanic they indicated it needed about $1200 in work including steering box & a gasket for some oil is seepingThe Frame will need welding for it is rusting.I personally have only driven it from my grandmother's house to my house and then back and forth to my mechanic. I have disclosed all I am aware of that this car needs. Please note that is is being sold AS IS. Buyer will be responsible for a $200 deposit via Paypal and cash upon pick-up. Buyer is also responsible if they would like it shipped. Because the age of the car no title has been re-issued. I will fill out a Bill of Sale and give it/send it to the buyer once paid in full (along with the original title if you wish).
