1941 CHEVY CLAM SHELL SUBURBAN VERT RARE CALIFORNIA STATE PRISON HY-WAY TRUCK
Up for auction is a 1941 Chevy Suburban. It was originally a state government owned "Chain Gang" vehicle, which was used to haul the trailer with equipment and the inmates that worked on the roads back in the 40's.
The vehicle was always garage kept and was repainted, had engine rebuilt, along with front seats, headliner and door panels recovered prior to being purchased in 1995
This vehicle has not been driven on the road and has sat for nearly the last 20+ years.
have not put gas into it. But to ensure it does still turn over, I have placed a jump box on the truck and turned the motor over.
Pics inside, outside, of the engine, and a couple underneath are all included. Please Do Not ask for more pics, because all you see here are all that I have.
Title is in hand, and ready for a new owner.
Vehicle is sold strictly AS-IS.
No negotiating price upon pick up of the vehicle, and no games.
Vehicle will need to be towed, so do NOT expect a weekend cruiser that just needs a battery upon arrival.
Vehicle is over 75 years old.
