1987 Chevrolet Camaro

1987 Chevrolet IROC Z28 Camaro. Car is very solid and restorable. Underneath is very clean and solid. This car has been well preserved. I have replaced the fuel filter, distributor, plugs and wires. Car fires right up and runs well, in fact I have driven it all summer this year. I had intentions of restoring, but I just do not have the time for another project. As much as I love this car, I have to let it go. It has the 350 TPI engine, and is one of around 3500 yellow IROC's made in 1987, so it is fairly rare. I believe it is loaded with all of the factory options, and they all seem to work still. The radio does not work, but there is a replacement that comes with the car. Car has a Flowmaster exhaust and has a very aggressive sound. Tires are fair all the way around and has a current NY state inspection.
Its not perfect, the weatherstrips should all be replaced, the t-tops are leaking a bit when it rains hard, and it could use a fresh paint job and seat reupholstery. The carpet in the car is like new. Somebody has had their fingers in the wiring, so the fan relays are bypassed so the cooling fans are constantly on, and some of the gauges in the instrument cluster do not work properly.
With a little work, this can be a great car again. Its a true IROC, and definitely worth saving.
