Description:

1979 Chevrolet Silverado 1500

This 1979 Chevrolet Silverado is far from stock, but you already knew that from the first impression. But beyond the bold paint and shiny wheels is a comfortable A/C interior and an enhanced small block V8. So you really can have it all for a value price. You're looking at a very custom pickup, and best of all, there's only 2,151 miles on the whole build. That's why the yellow paint is even more vivid in person than in these pictures (yes, hard to believe, but true!) The stepside bed has a great flared fender appearance that really has helped start the vintage custom truck movement, and there's a good amount of time invested in making this whole pickup look exceptionally unique. You can see it up front with the mirror-like chrome bumper and a blacked-out version of a later Chevrolet grille. Along the sides the smooth body with a crisp crease line that erases decades of going work. In the rear there's more chrome on the bumper, but the real treat is the new oak wood in the bed. It's all finished off with an aggressive stance thanks to those solid 15-inch American Racing wheels on the lowered suspension. You might have noticed some of the black accents on the yellow exterior; well on the inside, the color scheme is reversed. The bold yellow is now an accent to a deep, dark muscle car-like interior. You get a durable vinyl bench seat with comfortable cloth inserts. It coordinates nicely with the carpeting, floor mats, door panels, and dash for a true uniform package. These Silverados were already a comfortable pickup from the factory, but we bet you're going to like the upgrades even better. Features like the VIP three-spoke steering wheel, AM/FM/cassette stereo with aux input for your iPod, and the ice-cold R134a air conditioning make this a true comfortable cruiser.Open the hood to a very tidy presentation. The dark appearance of the newer belts, wires, and hoses really look great against the yellow painted engine bay. And we all love a bit of flash on components like the air grabber and valve coves. But when you look beyond the style, you'll see the substance of a 350 cubic-inch small block that's been given some nice enhancements. It includes a Weber four-barrel carburetor, Edelbrock Performer RPM intake, and long tube headers. That last feature feeds a glasspack dual exhaust for a seriously sweet rumble. The undercarriage photos really highlight how fresh this build is with the clean presentation and newer components. Add in the three-speed automatic transmission, power steering, and front disc brakes, and you have the kind of total package that you'll enjoy driving any time. This is a fully-built custom pickup that is easy to live with every day. Who knew standing out in all the best ways could be so affordable. Call today!!!
