1955 chevy 150 2 door sedan. original 60s gasser from back in the day. was rescued from a barn about 15 years ago. car was a big block with a Hurst motor mount. straight axle suspension in the front with two coil springs,ladder bars and a watts link . 31 spline olds rear end, unknown gear ratio, frame was build from a 1 piece 56 chevy hard top frame. built in California supposedly by Blair speed-shop,. car was state of the art back in its day, car has a fiberglass deck-lid, and I have a pair of fiberglass doors that go on the car. original doors are rusty but repairable. the two front fenders are not rusty, but have some body damage which would take a competent body man to repair no hood or grille, car comes with a pair of 60s style bucket seat. still retains a single loop roll bar with the aviation seatbelts. straight axle has no front brakes, and has Chevy spindles. car comes with a Vega steering box, and original steering column. car needs toebords and floorpans and the floor supports are from a southern Cali car which are as nice as can be expected., trunk is in great cond . no history has been verified but was said to be quite a car in it's day. engine is 0.60 454 four bolt mains, 70's ls6 closed chambered heads, and 454 steel crank. cross ram with a vertex magnito, headers are in good shape, just need to be sandblasted. car was originally maroon lettered gasser when raced. has large merc cruiser finned oil pan. would really like to finish this car but I am getting close to 70 and I think this is more than I can currentl;y deal with but is is a great beginning for someone to finish. any questions call Tommy 540 308 3148 clear VA title in my name on hand. car was originally maroon was lettered with gas class on 1/4 panel when raced.$500.00 deposit at close of auctio, balance on pickup in cash, thanks for looking
